Devotee Virender Sehwag moved by Hanuman Ansh, urges fans to watch

Virender Sehwag has praised Hanuman Ansh after watching the film on Neem Karoli Baba. He was deeply moved by the devotional drama based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj ji. Sehwag, who has followed the saint’s life and teachings for years, said the film beautifully captures a glimpse of a spiritual figure whose story, he believes, can never truly be contained in a single film.In a video shared on Instagram, Sehwag spoke about his connection with Neem Karoli Baba, whom he first heard about around 10 years ago through a close friend who is one of the saint’s devotees. He said he had been hearing and reading about Maharaj ji ever since.“Some experiences, some people are such that there are not enough words to describe them. However much you try to tell about them, you cannot do justice,” Sehwag said. He added that he had developed an “immense attraction” towards Maharaj ji, whose personality, devotion and blessings, he said, had transformed many lives.Sehwag also spoke about how the saint’s influence has continued among his devotees even 52 years after his death. He said it would be impossible to capture the entirety of Neem Karoli Baba’s life in one film, but praised Hanuman Ansh for offering a glimpse into his life. “I saw the film Hanuman Ansh a few days ago. It is impossible to draw out his life in one film. It is made very beautifully and is well written. I think this film is a beautiful tribute to Maharaj ji,” he said.One scene in particular touched Sehwag. It shows Maharaj ji surrounded by snakes, when a devotee tells him that he is as innocent as Shiv. He replies, “It is you who is innocent. The eyes see what is in our hearts.” “That is perhaps what he wanted to say to all of us,” Sehwag said. He added that saints like Neem Karoli Baba are born only on rare occasions in the history of the nation. While he believes it is impossible to fully understand the saint, he said the film allows viewers to get “one glimpse” of him.“Hanuman Ansh presents that one glimpse very well.
