In this movie, he is assigned to negotiate with the man in control of a Manhattan bank heist. That is where this heist movie becomes something special. Clive Owen plays Dalton Russell, the man in charge of the heist. However, in the end, Russell is not interested in robbing the bank. The heist serves as the catalyst for forcing the reveal of a safe-deposit box to bring down someone hiding a dark secret from the past. With a supporting cast, including Jodie Foster, Christopher Plummer, Willem Dafoe, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, the movie is solid from top to bottom. With a $184.4 million box office on a $45 to $60 million budget, it was one of Spike Lee's best box office successes. It also has great critical reviews, with critics saying that it takes a familiar genre and twists it just enough to help it stand out. On the same day, 2 Guns is also leaving the streaming service. 2 Guns is a lesser-known Washington action movie based on the Boom Studios comic book series by Steven Grant and Mateus Santolouco. This is a buddy cop movie with Mark Wahlberg as Washington's co-star. 2 Guns features Washington and Wahlberg as Robert "Bobby Beans" Trench and Michael "Stig" Stigman, two criminals working together. However, what neither man knows is that the other is an undercover agent, with Bobby Beans working as a DEA Special Agent, and Stig serving as a United States Navy SEAL. 2 Guns is full of twists and turns and is a fun ride, especially for Denzel Washington and Wahlberg action movie fans.
