The victim, identified as Vansh, was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon near Gyan Vatika School on Thursday evening.Police suspect the accused believed Vansh was having an affair with his sister.According to police, Vansh suffered 17 stab wounds in the attack. The incident was reported at around 8 pm on September 10, following which a police team reached the spot and found the injured man.Vansh was rushed to Max Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.TWO MEN CHASED VICTIM AFTER ARGUMENTThe preliminary investigation has indicated that Vansh had an argument with one of the accused over a minor issue before the attack, police said. The accused, identified as 22-year-old Keshav Kumar, a resident of Karawal Nagar, chased Vansh along with another associate after the altercation. The two then attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon near Gyan Vatika School before fleeing the spot.A case of murder was registered at Mandawali police station and an investigation was launched. Police have since arrested both accused and are questioning them to establish the sequence of events and determine the exact motive behind the killing.Investigators have also recovered the knife used in the crime, along with the clothes worn by the accused at the time of the incident. Their motorcycle has also been seized.Police teams are examining CCTV footage from cameras installed in and around the area to establish the movements of the accused and reconstruct the events leading up to the stabbing.Further investigation is underway.MAN ARRESTED IN AI-GENERATED OBSCENE IMAGE CASEIn a separate incident, Delhi Police arrested a 22-year-old man on September 9 for using photographs of a woman from her private Instagram account to create and circulate obscene AI-generated images.The case was registered at the Cyber Police Station in North Delhi following a complaint by a 22-year-old woman.According to police, the accused, a resident of East Punjabi Bagh, knew the woman from college and had developed resentment towards her following repeated insults.The woman approached police after receiving messages from anonymous Instagram accounts informing her that morphed photographs and videos of her were being circulated through Discord servers.Police said fake Instagram accounts were created to upload and share the objectionable content.
