CBB star Alicia Douvall reveals she’s married her businessman fiancé a year after romantic Maldives proposal

CELEBRITY Big Brother star Alicia Douvall has married her fiancé David Anstiss 16 months on from their engagement. The former glamour model, 47, announced the happy news on Instagram today, writing: “We got married! Delighted Alicia showed off her huge sparkler on social media after saying yes to his proposal. The couple’s love story began at a tennis club when David came to Alicia’s aid after a water bottle got stuck inside a vending machine. Actress Alicia has had romances with a raft of top stars from Simon Cowell to Mickey Rourke and basketball icon Dennis Rodman. Most read in Showbiz But it’s David who finally got her to say “I do”. She told Closer earlier this year: “I was never one of those girls who dreamed of getting married – I’ve been the runaway bride. David’s basically planning the whole thing – men can handle it much better.” Insisting this is the first time she’s truly been in love, Alicia added: “I’ve stopped going for narcissistic egomaniacs who live shallow lives.” The former Page 3 girl previously suffered from body dysmorphia and became addicted to surgery, having more than 350 procedures. Among them were 18 boob jobs and 11 nose procedures. She has now turned her back on cosmetic nip-tucks and previously warned pal Katie Price to do the same. Comment now
