TMZ Sports has learned. According to local officials, deputies responded to an in-progress life-in-danger call at Oliver's home on the evening of June 28. When first responders arrived, they were told the child's parents had found him unresponsive in the pool. The toddler, who was just shy of his second birthday, was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:18 PM. The 28-year-old defensive tackle was seen speaking with law enforcement before breaking down in tears as he sat on the ground outside his home. Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane sent his condolences to Ed and his family on behalf of the entire organization Saturday. He said, "It's an unthinkable tragedy for any parent. We will continue to support Ed and his family as we all grieve this tragic loss."
