Bruiser Wolf & Conductor Williams Announce New Album The Dealer Wins: Hear “The Score” (Feat. Marv Won)

Last week, the one-of-one Detroit underground rap stylist Bruiser Wolf teamed up with Conductor Williams, a producer best-known for his work with Griselda and Drake, on a single called "Ain't Got Time." It wasn't a standalone. Bruiser Wolf and Conductor Williams made a whole album together. It's called The Dealer Wins — you get it — it's coming out in just a few days. Today, they drop a new single called "The Score," and it features the Detroit underground veteran and overall battle-rap legend Marv Won.I don't really write about this, but I watch a lot of battle rap. Like, I pay for the URL subscription and everything. (I'll sometimes go for months without watching any, but the new Illmac/Tay Roc battle is worth the price of admission alone.) In that world, Marv Won is a fixture — a kindly older veteran type who will still fuck somebody up when the stars align just right. Unlike a lot of battlers, Marv actually makes records that are worth hearing. On "The Score," he and Bruiser Wolf both radiate personality all over the place. They make a lot of sense together.
