Britney Spears Biopic Movie to Be Written by ‘New Girl’ Creator Liz Meriwether

Liz Meriwether, known for her work on "New Girl," is set to write the screenplay for a Britney Spears biopic directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Marc Platt. The film will draw from Spears' memoir, "The Woman in Me," which became a bestseller upon its release in October 2023. This project could provide a compelling and intimate look into Spears' life, offering fans and critics alike a chance to explore her complex personal journey and career. The involvement of such a notable creator indicates a potentially well-crafted and thoughtful portrayal of Spears' experiences.
