British star Jodie Turner-Smith 'funded brother's drug use and sex parties as he forced woman into sex and called her his white slave', bombshell lawsuit claims

Jodie Turner-Smith and her brother are being sued by three people claiming he hosted sex parties and pressured them to take drugs she funded.The first black actress to play Henry VIII's second wife Anne Boleyn, who also starred in Queen and Slim, was named alongside her brother Richard Smith in court documents filed on Thursday and seen by the Daily Mail.Three anonymous claimants say Mr Smith, named in full as Richard Mark Anthony Smith, invited each of them to parties where there were drugs, guns and people having sex, according to the court papers.The first and third claimants said Mr Smith pressured them to take drugs and engage in sexual activity with him, with the third also claiming he allowed her to stay at his Los Angeles home in exchange for sex.Later, the first claimant said she found out the house in question was owned by Ms Turner-Smith, 40.Born in Peterborough to Jamaican parents, Ms Turner-Smith moved to the US aged ten after her parents divorced.She made her acting debut aged 27 in 2013 after moving to Los Angeles on the advice of singer Pharrell Williams and appeared in former One Direction singer Zayn Malik's Pillowtalk music video before starring opposite Daniel Kaluuya in Queen and Slim in 2019.Ms Turner-Smith's casting in 2020 as Anne Boleyn in a series following the final days of Henry VIII's second wife before her beheading was controversial as the first black actress to take on the role. Jodie Turner-Smith and her brother Richard Smith were named in court documents on Thursday claiming he staged sex parties at a house she owned in Los Angeles The Queen and Slim star, who was the first black actress to portray Anne Boleyn, is also accused in the court documents of financing drugs for her brother She admitted she knew it might be a 'stretch' for some viewers but added others were 'finally ready' for a fresh take.Her brother Mr Smith was born in Jamaica and is accused by the second anonymous complainant in this week's lawsuit of having referred to her as his 'white slave' and described himself as her 'master'.According to court documents, that woman made similar allegations to her co-claimants and alleged she had a conversation with Mr Smith in which he said his sister used cocaine with him and helped fund a drug purchase.She said she had a sexual relationship with Mr Smith which became 'increasingly coercive, unhealthy and controlling' and that on some occasions he 'stripped her naked and confined her in a walk-in closet'.The first complainant made similar claims that Mr Smith 'isolated her in a bedroom', 'restricted or substantially impeded' her ability to leave, 'pressured' her to take drugs and engage in unconsensual sex. She also claimed Mr Smith told her his sister had given him an Audi that 'he used to transport packages to USPS that allegedly contained narcotics transported across state lines'.And she said he told her he was 'more talented' than Ms Turner-Smith and shared other opinions 'expressing hostility' towards black women and family members.He allegedly also 'repeatedly invoked' his sister's 'name and status to lower women's defences and create an appearance of legitimacy, safety, wealth and family oversight'. The court filing said the actress 'knew about the drug operation, used cocaine with [her brother], helped him pay for narcotics, paid his bills' and gave him the car. Ms Turner-Smith allegedly 'knew of significant dangers associated with (her brother) and, despite that knowledge, continued to provide or make available resources that enabled Smith to maintain housing, transportation and a lifestyle' in which the behaviour they claim took place.
