A BRITISH man has been found dead after locking himself inside his rented Costa del Sol flat bedroom as authorities prepared to evict him. The UK national, 40, was about to be kicked out of the Marbella property for not paying any rent over the last two years. The Brit initially opened the door when the eviction team approached the apartment. But he went back inside the home after asking for more time to gather his belongings. The Brit reportedly locked the door of his bedroom from the inside and failed to come out again. Police were called to the scene before they forcibly broke into the bedroom. The unnamed Brit reportedly had several criminal convictions for theft, fraud and domestic violence, according to Spanish outlet El Mundo. His passport had been confiscated because he was categorised as a potential flight risk, the newspaper reported.
