In the long-awaited sequel, Brendan Fraser is reprising his iconic role of Rick O'Connell that he previously played in The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Rachel Weisz is also back as Evelyn Carnahan, who was last seen in The Mummy Returns. Other returning cast members include John Hannah as Jonathan Carnahan, Oded Fehr as Ardeth Bay, and Kevin J. O'Connor as Beni Gabor, while Obsession breakout star Michael Johnston and Young Sherlock's Numan Acar join the franchise in undisclosed roles. While speaking with Canal Plus, Fraser has now revealed that The Mummy 4 will begin filming on Monday, September 7. He shared that "I have to be at work on Monday morning" and explained how he will be "careful" and "completely comfortable" communicating with the stunt team.
