When Pokemon developer Game Freak revealed that it was working on a brand-new IP, it’s fair to say that there was some scepticism. Over the years, the last few Pokemon games have been accused of being rushed, unoptimised, poorly put together, and lacking in innovation, which didn’t leave high hopes for a much grander project. That changed a little when Beast of Reincarnation was properly unveiled, with many seeing it as a sign that the team was never the issue. Now that Beast has launched to decent but a little mixed reviews, though, Game Freak has shared a statement promising that some of the bigger issues are being fixed and that feedback is being listened to. Beast Of Reincarnation Reception Is Being Taken “To Heart” Some Of The Biggest Issues Are Already Being Worked On Over on Twitter, the official Game Freak account just shared a post following Beast of Reincarnation’s launch. The team says that it takes player feedback “to heart” and is planning some “continuous updates” to improve the game, which is a pleasant surprise considering how the studio’s other games don’t always get the same treatment. Game Freak says that Beast’s next patch, which is targeted to launch in around a week, is going to fix some of the bigger issues that players have with it. That includes the camera being far too close to Emma, the text size being too small, “story pacing improvements” that are ongoing, and a bunch of bug fixes. While some of Beast of Reincarnation’s more mixed reviews aren’t necessarily tied to the issues that are being addressed, players have still been very vocal about some of the issues since the game launched. It’s a positive step to see the team taking the feedback on board and aiming to make Beast a better game in the long run.
