The collaboration has been locked in as part of Asda’s mission to “make life easier” for customers, while “enhancing” the shopping experience. Asda explains that the lockers “will be installed across a mix of Asda superstores, supermarkets and Express locations”. The rollout will mean shoppers can “send and return parcels at a time that suits them”. The project comes amid a growing consumer demand for “greater flexibility and control” when it comes to sending and receiving post. The InPost network already boasts more than 16,000 lockers across the UK, with Asda’s partnership providing the service at 700 more locations. Joseph Sutton, director of Express, fuel & wholesale at Asda, said: “Our unmatched mix of services is a key part of what sets Asda apart, and we know customers increasingly value the convenience of being able to tick off multiple tasks in a single trip.
