ARSENAL could be in line for a boost to their summer transfer kitty thanks to player sales from other clubs. The Gunners have already splashed over £100million this summer on Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis and are still keen to add more new faces before the deadline. Reports in Italy suggest that Tavares is available for transfer this summer after attracting interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia in January. Lazio are thought to want around £17m for Tavares. If someone snaps up the defender for that price tag, Arsenal could bank a windfall of up to £4.3m. The Gunners could also make some more cash from another sell-on clause this summer. Monaco striker Folarin Balogun is attracting plenty of interest following his impressive World Cup campaign for the United States. Balogun, 25, is expected to leave Monaco and has reportedly been considered by Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham.
