Amazon Boeing 767 Runs Off Miami Airport Runway—Video Shows Cargo Jet On A Road Outside

An Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767 ran off the runway at Miami International Airport Sunday afternoon, with video showing the cargo jet at a road along the airport perimeter. The plane had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, around 2 p.m. Flight tracking points to 21 Air 7598, which Flightradar24 lists as operated by N1997A. That registration belongs to “Amazon One,” the first plane painted in Amazon’s own colors, which they unveiled a decade ago. There were reported flames and heavy black smoke in the aftermath, along with a ground stop at Miami. They’re a U.S. cargo airline with an operations center in Miami. Federal Aviation Administration records list the plane as a 1994 Boeing 767-33A, making it 32 years old.
