These handy little (and sometimes decidedly not-so-little) weapons give you another way to deal with enemies. They add some extra range and damage to your fights. There are several sidearms scattered throughout the game, and finding them can mean exploring dungeons or poking around places you might otherwise sprint straight past. Thankfully, you don't have to wander around the world hoping to accidentally stumble across one. This guide breaks down every sidearm available, with a quick description of each weapon and clear directions for finding them. Time to get armed and slightly more dangerous. Here’s where you can find every sidearm in Mortal Shell 2, along with a quick description of what each weapon does. Name Description Location Naylshotte A cursed ranged weapon used to fire projectiles at enemies from a distance. Automatically obtained at the start of the game during the Prologue. Forgotten Crossbow A crossbow that fires bolts at enemies from a distance. Head northwest from the Blackridge Pass Beacon and use the arc to open the door leading into the Flooded Village dungeon. After the second elevator, enter the underground village and find the Damp Key in a box near a house in the back-left area. Use the key to open the building in the center of the area, where the Forgotten Crossbow is on a table. Salvaged Trebuchaxe A ranged weapon that launches axes at enemies. Travel south from the Gloomshade Grove Beacon to the Ravaged Hideout dungeon. Defeat the nearby Bloodcursed Lithopod to access it, then follow the dungeon to the final room. The weapon is on a body. Troubadour's Lute A lute-shaped weapon that can be used to attack enemies. Head southeast from the One Legged Wolf Beacon and enter the One Legged Wolf Tavern. Find the stage and pick up the weapon to the left of the character playing the lute. Triarch Repeater A ranged weapon that fires multiple projectiles in rapid succession. From the Castigator's Keep Beacon, reach the lower level and head north toward the Blackwell Cavern dungeon near the cliff. Continue through the dungeon until you reach the first lit area, where the weapon is on the ground. Ballistazooka A large, heavy ranged weapon that fires powerful projectiles. From the Gate of Mammon Beacon, head northwest up the stairs and follow the building clockwise to the entrance of the Sentry's Grave dungeon. Reach the end of the dungeon and defeat the Subjugated Guardian to obtain it automatically. Cursed Child A ranged weapon that uses a cursed child to attack enemies. From the Sester's Gate Beacon, head northwest and follow the path to the Revered Beacon dungeon. Inside, avoid the golden light from the central tower and make your way around to it. Attack the central pillar to disable the light, then collect the Cursed Child. Caged Hystrix A weapon containing a creature that can be used to attack enemies. Head southeast from The Silent Steps Beacon to the platform where you fight Sariel, the Endless. Defeat him to open the path to the Chamber of Becoming dungeon. Defeat him again inside, destroying all four tombstones to prevent his revival. Afterward, climb the stairs at the back of the room to find the Caged Hystrix near the dungeon exit.
