Ajith Kumar's AK64 is DareDevil; Adhik Ravichandran returns as director

The wait is finally over for Ajith Kumar fans. After weeks of anticipation surrounding his next project following the blockbuster success of Good Bad Ugly, the makers unveiled the film's title as DareDevil. The Tamil superstar reunites with director Adhik Ravichandran for the second consecutive time, while the film will be produced by his wife, Shalini Ajith Kumar, under the banner Brave Hearts Production. Music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.Director Adhik Ravichandran announced the title by sharing the film's first-look poster on X. Along with the reveal, he celebrated Ajith Kumar's 34-year journey in cinema, writing, "34 years of breaking barriers, inspiring millions, and redefining stardom. Lesssgoooo."While the makers are yet to reveal any details about the story, the title poster spells out DareDevil on a set of rolling dice. The visual hints that the film could potentially revolve around gambling.Ajith Kumar was last seen in Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, which emerged as one of the biggest Tamil hits of 2025. The action entertainer marked the duo's first collaboration and was praised by fans for presenting Ajith in a stylish, mass-hero avatar packed with action, humour and nostalgic callbacks.
