The Los Angeles-based musician told Page Six he is interested in a post-breakup collaboration with the “Nicole Kidman” singer, claiming it would be a unique way to close that chapter of his life. “I would totally do it,” the alternative artist, 27, said. “To just let it out on the mic would be cool, you know? It’d definitely be an interesting song.” Morris — who dropped his new album, “Kiss Me Extra Hard,” last week — dated Adéla, 22, for most of 2024 before calling it quits in early 2025. The “Jealousy Trap” singer would like to reunite with his ex, but only in the studio. The former “Dream Academy” contestant has often mentioned an “ex” being the inspiration behind some of her writing — including a track called “Starving Artist,” which fans concluded was written about Morris. Morris also penned a tune about his former flame on his latest album, which is titled “High All the Time” and features G-Eazy.Adéla, who found massive success in 2026 with the song named after theOscar-winning actress, previously commented on how she would like to do a song with an ex. Despite the split, there is no bad blood between the two. “I was like, I ought to just reach out and congratulate her,” Morris told Page Six of his recent conversation with Adéla, “’cause when somebody becomes like the exact image of what they said they were going to do, it’s so freaking cool to see.” The Slovak singer, snapped in 2026, recently released a track titled “Starving Artist,” which fans believe is about Morris. Both artists are staying busy — Adéla is currently set to continue her Red Bottom tour in December at TD Garden in Boston, and Morris, who recently held a release party at the famed Los Angeles restaurant Canter’s Deli, will begin an international tour with Artemas this month. Morris said his new album has been a lifetime in the making. “It takes time to be able to articulate what you lived and what you already know,” he said. “People can expect the most concise, themed thing I’ve ever done, and it’s going to be a fun listen-through, because I really feel like a lot of people, we don’t have very much differentiation in our experiences anyway.” While the former couple, shown together, harbor no ill will, fans should not hold out for a romantic reunion. Morris stated that the recent conversation he had with his pop star ex-girlfriend was “a nice catch-up.” taken by @casadeguevara “So I’m sure if I’m having these emotions and putting them into songs, a lot of people will be able to connect with that and find a little piece of their lives in it too, hopefully.” Of the 11 new tracks on his LP, Morris said one line from his song “Rather Fight” encompasses the whole thing — “I would rather fight with you every night than be happy with somebody else.” “All of the crazy, fun experiences you could have in the world and on tour and doing this, it doesn’t really compare to being next to or with somebody that truly understands who you are and accepts that. It pales in comparison.” Community Guidelines Welcome to the Page Six Community! Our community is about connecting people through open and thoughtful conversations.
