Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ and ‘La Bola Negra’s ‘La Nieve’ Among Nominees for Hollywood Music In Media Awards

Taylor Swift and “La Bola Negra’s” “La Nieve,” performed by Guitarricadelafuente (written by Álvaro Lafuente, Raül Refree and Lucas Duran) are among the nominees for this year’s Hollywood Music in Media Awards. The ceremony honors composers, songwriters, music supervisors and artists for their contributions to music in film, television, video games and other visual media. Winners will be revealed at the annual event on Nov. 18, at the Avalon Hollywood. Swift’s emotional “I knew It, I knew You,” which plays at the end of “Toy Story 5″ and is fitting for the film’s main character, Jessie, was nominated in the animated film category. The writers behind “La Bola Negra’s” powerful ballad “La Nieve’ also landed a nod for their work in the Independent Film category. “Behemoth,” “The Odyssey,” “Michael,” “Brother Verses Brother” and “Linda Perry: Let It Die Here” were also nominated and led with three nods apiece. Composers Daniel Pemberton and Mina Samy received four nominations each. Pemberton is nominated for his scores for the films “Project Hail Mary” and “The Drama,” the series “Slow Horses” and for the song “Let Me Sell You a Dream” from “Musk.” Samy is nominated for his scores for the film “Ezma” and the short film “Stopped” and received nods for both the score and main title theme for the foreign-language TV series “The Death Ward.” Ludwig Göransson received three nods for his work on “The Odyssey”: one for the score, one for the song “When I’m Home” (co-written with fellow nominees James Blake, Travis Scott and Christopher Nolan) and one for the song’s music video. Songwriter nominees also included Diane Warren, Swift and Jack Antonoff, Beck, Charli XCX and Miley Cyrus. Last year’s winners included “Golden” from K-pop Demon Hunters and the original score for “Sinners.” Both went on to win Oscars. See below for a full list of nominees.
