Related Commander Breakdown There are two primary Commanders in this deck: Krenko, Mob Boss, and Zada, Hedron Grinder. Krenko is arguably the most well-known and heavily played of these two across multiple formats. He's a four-mana goblin warrior who can be tapped to create X 1/1 goblin tokens, where X is the number of creatures you control. He's a very straightforward Commander who is all about populating your battlefield. As for Zada, they're a fantastic Commander who often goes underappreciated. Whenever you cast a spell that targets just Zada, you may copy the spell for each other targetable creature you control, and each copy must go to a different one of those creatures. While worded strangely, Zada's spell copies must go to targets that have not already benefited from the spell, preventing you from casting more than one copy on a single creature. As an example, if you target Zada with Ancestors' Aid, they would get +2/0, and you would create a treasure token. If you also controlled 5 other 1/1 goblin tokens, they would also each get +2/0, and you would create five further treasure tokens. Zada can win Commander games very quickly. Like Krenko, Zada costs four mana to cast initially. Strategy Swing fast and wide. Simple. In all seriousness, this deck is designed to win games very quickly. Still, on initial impression, it can also go deep into games if it needs to, provided you can avoid becoming the number one target at the table. The term "swing wide" refers to filling your battlefield with low-power and toughness creatures so that the damage is done in volume, rather than stacking all your power into one or two creatures. With some of the spells in this deck, you can certainly boost some of your creatures into bigger threats temporarily, but each game should be treated like a speedrun where you're trying to set a personal best. It's all about just how fast you can win a game and leave your opponents shellshocked.
