25-year-old man stabbed to death by wife's lover in Pune, locals help catch accused

A 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife's lover in a brutal attack in Sarola village of Pune on Thursday night. The accused was later chased and apprehended by police with the help of locals.The deceased has been identified as Amar Nandu Pawar. The accused, Deepak Pal, is a native of Uttar Pradesh.According to the FIR, the incident took place at around 9 pm on August 27, outside the gate of a house belonging to Mahesh Dhadve.Pawar was reportedly walking along the road with Pal's wife and their minor daughter when the accused followed them and attacked him from behind. Pal stabbed Pawar multiple times in the neck and throat with a knife, causing serious injuries that proved fatal. Pawar died on the spot.POLICE, LOCALS CHASE DOWN ACCUSEDAfter receiving information about the incident, Rajgad Police rushed to the spot. With the help of locals, the police chased and apprehended Pal.
