The special edition brings cosmetic enhancements to the popular SUV, along with additional convenience features and ambient lighting in the cabin. These include a signature front grille, gloss-black alloy wheels with matching hub caps, a black roof, black rear door garnish and a black-finished antenna. It also gets body-side mouldings and an exclusive hood emblem. Inside, the SUV features dual-tone black and maroon seat upholstery, matching black-and-maroon door trims, ambient lighting and illuminated scuff plates. Additional features include auto-folding outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).The updates focus on enhancing the Fortuner’s visual appeal and cabin experience, while retaining its existing SUV character. Toyota has not announced any mechanical changes for the Leader Edition.Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition: Features and ownership benefits Toyota is also offering a range of finance and ownership benefits with the Fortuner, including funding plans of up to seven years, Toyota Smart Balloon Finance and pre-approved options for extended warranty and Toyota Genuine Accessories.The ownership package includes five years of complimentary roadside assistance and a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000km, whichever comes first. Customers can extend the warranty up to five years or 2,20,000km. The SUV is also covered by Toyota’s customisable Smiles Plus service programme.Toyota Fortuner: A key model for the brandThe Fortuner has been a prominent player in India’s premium SUV segment for over 15 years, building a reputation for its road presence, robust performance, off-road capability in applicable variants and strong resale value.
