The Plain DealerCLEVELAND, Ohio – One Eleven Bistro has scheduled a dinner featuring Barolo wines.The dinner – 6 p.m. arrival, 6:30 p.m. seating Thursday, Dec. 3 – will include five Barolo wines from Viberti. The producer’s roots date back more than a century. The family-owned winery has about 50 acres of vines dedicated to Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato and Timorasso grapes. The winery’s overall production is very small.Barolo is a complex wine produced exclusively from Nebbiolo in Italy’s Piedmont region. It has aging potential and is known as the “king of wines.”(The label name refers to Viberti’s specific vineyard.)Wine: Buon Padre.
