Zelensky Says Ukraine Will Push to End Russia’s War Before Winter

Ukraine will seek to generate enough diplomatic, economic and military pressure on Moscow to end Russia’s war before the beginning of winter, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday.Speaking at a meeting of Ukrainian ambassadors in Kyiv, Zelensky presented autumn 2026 as the desired window for forcing Russia toward peace, though he cautioned that the timing could not be guaranteed.
