Zara Larsson was previously-unheard-of levels of iconic at Lollapalooza, and people are begging, pleading, and praying to know her workout routine after her dance break went viral. This is the stamina I need at the club while dancing alone in my bedroom!Zara previously said she thinks her strong core comes from laughing so much (love her), but yesterday she hopped on TikTok and told fans, “let’s talk about the workout routine.”Add Cosmopolitan as a preferred source in your Google search results.Use your Google account to add this to your settings.“So I just found out that I’ve done 116 shows—117 tomorrow—over the past year, which means that I’ve averaged about a show every third day for a year,” Zara said, adding that when she’s not on stage she’s “lazy.”“I don’t want to go to the gym. I just want to lay like this,” she said from bed. “And half of it, if not more, is genetics. I’m sorry, it is what it is. I feel like you can do something about your genetic makeup, but at the end of the day, some people are tall, some people are short, some people build muscles really easily, some people don’t, some people hold fat in certain areas of their body, some people lose fat really easily. That’s why it’s kinda useless to compare yourself to other people. Because what really matters is how you feel in your body. Do you feel strong? Do you feel capable? Do you feel like you are living your best life? My tip is the dancing of it all.”Zara went on to explain that the dancing in her shows is “such a fun thing to do” (and obviously a great way to work out) and suggests putting on your favorite song and just going for it in front of a mirror. As she put it, “there’s something about dancing that is so primal. Moving your body, coordination, stamina, strength, to a rhythm? Your favorite song? I think that’s spiritual.”On it!
