‘You’re a curse’ Kit spirals in Coronation Street ahead of cancer diagnosis

Kit’s panicking (Picture: ITV) Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is spiralling following the news there is a chance he may be diagnosed with cancer in Coronation Street. Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) recently learnt that her family carries the BRCA gene, which significantly increases your chance of developing certain cancers. She and Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) planned to get tested. If either of them gets a positive result, there’s a high possibility that Bernie’s son Kit also carries the gene, meaning his son Brody (Ryan Mulvey) and Gemma’s quads could have inherited it too. The news has left the family shaken. In today’s episode, after a chat with Dr Gaddas, Bernie found Kit and attempted to reassure him about her results. She believed that her test would come back negative, but Bernie’s comments didn’t help Kit at all.
