The Made-in-India tyre is available in a 15-inch format and gets an Outline White Letter (OWL) treatment on the sidewall, giving SUVs and utility vehicles a more distinctive appearance.The Geolandar A/T was previously available in India through imports, but Yokohama now manufactures the tyre at its facility in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The new white-letter variant is currently offered in two sizes.Yokohama Geolandar A/T white-letter designThe new variant retains the existing all-terrain-focused design of the GEOLANDAR A/T, while the white lettering adds contrast to the sidewall. The treatment is aimed at SUV owners looking for a more rugged appearance, particularly on vehicles used for road trips and off-road driving.The 15-inch Geolandar A/T is compatible with SUVs and utility vehicles such as the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Bolero. Commenting on the introduction, Gaurav Mahajan, Head of Marketing and OE Sales, Yokohama India, said, “For today’s SUV owner, driving is increasingly part of a broader motoring lifestyle, where the vehicle reflects a sense of individuality, adventure and personal expression. The Geolandar A/T is designed to complement that mindset, bringing a more distinctive and rugged character to the vehicle.”More sizes coming in 2027Yokohama India plans to expand the locally produced Geolandar A/T range in the coming year. The company is looking to introduce locally manufactured 16-inch, 17-inch and 18-inch sizes in 2027.
