Yemeni forces says it targeted Houthi fighters over 800 times in past 24 hours

Yemen’s Saudi-backed government armed forces said on Wednesday that they carried out 835 targeted operations against Houthi forces in the last day. Military spokesperson Majed al-Nuzaili said the attacks included air strikes, drones and artillery which hit Houthi reinforcements and armoured vehicles, stopping a Houthi advance on the frontlines in the Taiz governorate. Nuzaili added that Yemeni forces killed at least 285 Houthi fighters and leaders, and destroyed up to 190 vehicles in Mahib, as part of the “Dawn of Yemen” offensive launched by the army.
