Yemen government says forces advancing toward Bab al-Mandeb, carried out strikes on Houthis in Taiz

The Saudi-backed Yemeni government said on Sunday that its forces are moving towards controlling the Bab al-Mandeb Strait after liberating Dhubab and strategic sites around it, cutting the road between Dhubab and Mocha. In a post on X, the Yemeni prime minister's office said that "Yemen is living through a decisive phase titled the restoration of sovereignty over the entire national territory and the overthrow of the Houthi coup backed and managed by Iran".
