‘Yellowjackets’ Trailer: The Team Adjusts To Civilization With Creepy Alanis Morissette Soundtrack In Final Season

After three high-stakes seasons stranded in the Canadian wilderness, the Yellowjackets have been rescued in the fourth and final season. On Thursday, Showtime released the trailer for Season 4 of Yellowjackets, which sees the titular 1990s soccer team return home to Wisayok, New Jersey, while their present-day adult counterparts are confronted with their dark secrets they left in the woods, all set to a haunting rendition of “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette. Premiering Nov. 20 on Paramount+ with Premium Plan, Season 4 of Yellowjackets features returning stars Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess, and Hilary Swank. Guest starring in the final season are June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun, Dulé Hill and more. Watch on Deadline Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later.
