Yadgir Congress MLA welcomes inductees, praises government for pro-people schemes

He added that these social welfare measures continue to benefit all sections of society under Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s tenure.​Taking a dig at the Union government, the MLA alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led administration had failed to safeguard public interest, citing rising unemployment and inflation. He also criticised the Centre’s delayed response in releasing drought relief funds to Karnataka, despite persistent appeals from the state leadership.​District Congress Committee president Basareddy Malipatil Anapur formally inducted the workers into the party by handing over party flags.Prominent inductees included former gram panchayat members and local leaders from Ward No. 27 of Yadgiri city, Biranakal Tanda, Kanthi Tanda, and neighbouring villages.
