The board of directors has determined that Mr. Narotam is an independent director under applicable Nasdaq listing standards and Canadian securities laws. Mr. Narotam has also been appointed to serve as a member of the Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committee of the board of directors. Mr. Narotam is a resident of British Columbia, Canada and has served as a Mortgage Development Manager since December 2020 at Vancity, Canada’s largest community-based credit union and a member-owned financial co-operative.
