Dealabs, a site that has leaked several gaming hardware prices in the past and is yet to miss by my count, claims the console is going to cost €899.99 in Europe, and estimates that price will be matched by an $899.99 MSRP in the US. If the leak is correct, and it seems pretty likely that it will be, the X25 Series X will be Xbox’s most expensive home console so far. After the most recent price hikes, the All-Digital Series X costs $749.99, while the Carbon Black console that comes with a disc drive is now its most expensive at $799.99. Xbox's Most Expensive Console Yet Xbox The translucent green Series X will not only be $100 more than the next most expensive Xbox on the market, but it will also cost $100 more than the 2TB Galaxy Black Series X. The beefier edition of the console was $799.99 but got discontinued alongside the latest Xbox price increase. Possibly because it would have needed to be more expensive than the $900 X25. Even Xbox doesn’t have the stones to try and sell an almost six-year-old console for $1000. Not yet. If the X25 is going to cost $900, then that would put it on par with where the PS5 Pro is up to following PlayStation’s most recent hikes. An unwanted comparison for Xbox since this new Series X model won’t be more powerful than its predecessors, nor does it boast more storage like the Pro. It is the same console, just in a different color. Despite all of that, and there almost certainly being no end in sight to these price increases, this limited edition console will almost certainly sell out within minutes of pre-orders going live. Not just because of its limited availability and the nostalgia play, but also because, according to the leak, Xbox is planning to drop it just in time for Black Friday on November 27. These are all unofficial details for now, regardless of how reliable the leaker is from which they’ve come.
