Players will have the opportunity to try out six games throughout the next few days. Game Pass members will have access to all of these games regardless of their subscription tier. But this isn't entirely a Game Pass-exclusive event; players without a subscription will be able to play two of the games on offer during the event. Free Play Days is a recurring campaign on Xbox, which allows players to test a game without having to spend money. If games are short enough, it even makes it possible for them to finish games completely free of charge. This Free Play Days campaign runs from Thursday, Sept. 10 through Sunday, Sept. 13. During this time, all Xbox Game Pass members can play Borderlands 4, CarX Drift Racing Online, F1 25 2026 Edition, and Surviving Mars: Relaunched. The event includes games from several genres to ensure there's something for everyone. All Xbox players will be able to play EA Sports Madden NFL 27 until Sept. 13. Additionally, they have access to the two-hour trial of Dustborn. During this weekend, some of the games in this campaign will be available at a discounted price. This means the fun doesn't have to end on Sept. 13. Free sign-up Get Polygon’s Wishlister newsletter A weekly cheat sheet to what you’ll eventually love to play.
