WWXD: The Adults Cast Survive Crazy Relationship Scenarios

The acclaimed FX series has garnered a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, all while engendering social media memes and edits that prove the audience is fully invested in the lives of the fictional young adults. While the series has not yet been officially renewed for season 3, the finale's juicy cliffhanger establishes the confidence of the creative team. ScreenRant celebrated Adults season 2's success with a round of WWXD, in which the stars randomly select a character from the show and then answer a scenario as that person. Amita Rao, Lucy Freyer, Jack Innanen, Owen Thiele, and Malik Elassal participated, each testing their knowledge of their fellow main characters and using their imaginations (and improv skills!) to craft a humorous situation. Thiele got his own character, Anton, and was faced with the idea of having to move out of his home after a breakup and into a loft populated by hot, single guys. "Anton is actually very guarded and doesn't have sex or emotional intimacy," Thiele admitted. "So, I think it would actually be hard for him if he falls in love with one of them." The actor likened the scenario to the Paul Baker storyline that has gripped fans of the show thus far. Elassal, meanwhile, was tasked with answering as Issa when it comes to a childhood friend running out on her wedding. "We're gonna take your wedding dress and destroy," he envisioned, describing Issa leading her friend in a ritual to symbolically start fresh. "I feel like [Issa] would make it her mission to help this person and take them in." Rao agreed, although she wondered if Issa would secretly want to keep the dress after all.
