WWE’s Danhausen jokingly reveals secret role in The Batman: Part 2

The recently debuted and popular WWE Superstar Danhausen may be playing a role in Matt Reeves' The Batman: Part II, starring Robert Pattinson, or is he?The Public Enemies podcast posted that Danhausen was cast in The Batman: Part II. It should be noted that they responded to a fan in the comments section, saying, “Brother[,] I'm lying.” So, it should be taken with a grain of salt.Danhausen still responded to the post, claiming to be playing Bat-Mite in the sequel. Bat-Mite is comparable to Mister Mxyzptlk, given the characters' mythical origins.Is WWE's Danhausen in The Batman: Part II?It doesn't appear Danhausen will appear in The Batman: Part II, despite what he said. The Public Enemies podcast did state that they were “lying,” but fans won't know for sure until the movie comes out.The Batman: Part II has been a long time in the making. Its release is still over a year away, as Warner Bros. currently has it slated to come out on Oct. 1, 2027.If it makes that release date, it will have been over five-and-a-half years since the first movie's release. The Batman was released on Mar. 4, 2022.The movie marked Pattinson's first time under the cowl. He assumed the role from Ben Affleck, who played Batman in the DCEU, which was spearheaded by Zack Snyder. Affleck never got to lead his own solo movie, only appearing in other projects co-headlined by other actors.Pattinson was previously a part of another blockbuster franchise, the Twilight series. However, after the series ended, he reinvented himself with roles in the likes of The Lost City of Z, Good Time, and The Lighthouse.Reeves co-wrote the script with Peter Craig and directed the DC project. The Batman seemingly takes place in its own cinematic universe outside of the DCU.
