World of Warcraft fans have been jumping into World of Warcraft: Forever over the past few days, and it seems like a lot of people are sharing a rather common experience. One of the most famous World of Warcraft streamers out there is Asmongold, and just like the rest of the game's fans, he's jumped in to try things out. Unfortunately, the streamer's fame has seen things get a little bit out of hand, as fans of Asmongold have been creating dozens of guilds all called Olympus, each with a maximum of 1,000 people. It's been claimed that this has been ruining the game's PvP scene due to the sheer overabundance of Asmongold supporters, and it's even been leaking into PvE servers. If Asmongold was a more traditional streamer, this wouldn't be all too bad. It would be annoying, but nothing to actually get heated about. However, he is anything but a traditional, family-friendly streamer, and Asmongold's supporters have been abusing the game's many chat systems to shout about bigotry, racism, and endlessly invite people into the Olympus horde, and it's all spurred on by the man himself. You Can Now Mute Asmongold And Olympus It's gotten to a point where one fan has taken the matter into their own hands and has given people a way to pretend that the Olympus guilds just don't exist. Created by a Twitter user called Solastro, there is now a plugin that will automatically mute every single player in the game that's in an Olympus guild, and hides their messages in all the game's chat systems. It also completely hides and auto-rejects any guild invites from Olympus guild members, as well as group invites from known members of Olympus. Best of all, it's client-side only, so it doesn't actually use up your ignore list, and those that have been muted will actually never know that you've muted them. It essentially removes Olympus from the game's social systems, and makes things less congested. Thankfully, it doesn't just work for Olympus either, as you can actually tailor it to completely mute any guild you want to, should any potential bad actors end up switching around.
