And this year, ‘Big’ John decided to make a change and drop some of his excess weight. He’s lost over a whopping SIX STONE of body fat by upping his exercise and cutting down on his beloved Chinese food. John has adopted a mainly carnivore-based diet on the advice of 2017 World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall. And he admits he’s indebted to ‘The Beast’ for putting him onto the path to better health and “saving” his life. Alongside a side-by-side transformation photo, the 52-year-old wrote on X: “42kg lost now of excess fat. “Still fat but now feel lot healthier. Another 20kg to come off. Slowly but surely.
