The Selecao shockingly crashed out of the last-16 after losing 2-1 to Norway. The record five-time world champions put together some inconsistent performances during the tournament. Brazil picked up two 3-0 victories over Haiti and Scotland in the group stage. But Ancelotti‘s side kicked their campaign off with a stressful 1-1 draw with surprise package Morocco. And Brazil barely managed to go through Japan in the last-32 where they came back from behind to win 2-1 with a last-gasp winner by Gabriel Martinelli. The World Cup giants haven’t made it past the quarter-finals since 2014 when they finished fourth.
