World Cup winners to receive Super Bowl-style championship rings

The 2026 World Cup champions will be gifted US-style championship rings.In addition to the famous golden FIFA World Cup trophy, winning players will be presented with a championship reminiscent of those awarded to Super Bowl and Stanley Cup winners.FIFA say the custom jewellery will bring “iconic American sporting tradition to global football.”The gold rings will be topped with blue gems and engraved with the words ‘FIFA World Cup 2026 Champions’.
