Workers complain of mould, roaches and maggots at airline catering facility in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - Workers at a catering facility that provides in-flight meals to Los Angeles International Airport said they had been exposed to cockroaches, maggots and mould in a complaint filed on Aug 5 with the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA).The complaint against Flying Food Group, a catering company that serves many of the nation’s busiest airports, also claims that employees at the facility, in Inglewood, California, had “insufficient or nonexistent soap and drying paper in facility restrooms.”
