Woman Says Boyfriend Canceled Her Flight At Denver Airport—“How Am I Supposed To Get Home?”

A woman followed her boyfriend through a Denver airport gate area, demanding to know why he canceled her flight and how she’s supposed to get home? He keeps trying to walk away. She keeps reaching for him. And his explanation: “I’m not gonna deal with this on an airplane in the sky.” She keeps grabbing at him. He keeps asking her to stop. She’s losing it – “You cancel my flight, how am I supposed to get home?!” It was apparently revenge for cheating. A caption near the end says she admitted to cheating after the recording stopped. Woman gets dumped at the airport while on vacation for cheating and gets her flight cancelled by u/fineshyt-istg in WhatIsTheTea It looks to me like Denver airport’s Frontier gates. And it’s hard to argue with keeping this off the airplane. But that probably argues for changing your own booking not someone else’s ticket. Or just talk to the gate agent about changing seats. The Reddit argument largely turns on whether a breakup ends any responsibility for getting the other person home. Plenty of commenters say she can buy her own ticket, or ask the alleged other man to pay. Others think ending the relationship is reasonable but canceling an already arranged ride home is vindictive. I like these comments, though: “All is airfare in love and war.” “I guess you can say it was a domestic flight.” We’ve seen what happens when a couple breaks up at the start of a flight. Doing it once you’re seated leaves both people stuck there, with an audience that can’t leave either. I’ve covered a flight attendant who cut off her cheating partner’s travel benefits. He’d flown from Miami to Phoenix to see another woman. She removed his benefits and changed her password, leaving him at the airport without a reservation home. Topics on this page
