Five months later, she had built four income streams that brought in Rs 2.28 lakh in September, even in what she described as a relatively slow month.Varsha, an Instagram user, shared a breakdown of her September earnings in a video, explaining how she replaced her former monthly salary through a mix of content creation, brand deals, paid consultations and remote sales. She began by revealing that she had quit what she described as her “perfect job” at Zomato five months ago. Her first income stream was TechUGC, or technology-focused user-generated content. This involves creating content such as product demonstrations, reviews and promotional videos for tech brands, often for the brands to use in their own marketing. The work brought her 1,900 in September, considerably less than she had earned from it in July and August. Her second and biggest income stream came from brand partnerships featured on her own Instagram page. These earned her Rs 86,000, although she noted that Rs 66,000 of that amount was still pending payment.Varsha’s third stream involved one-on-one sessions in which she taught people how to earn six figures through TechUGC. These sessions brought in approximately Rs 36,242 during September. Her fourth source of income was remote sales, which contributed another Rs 5,744 that month. She acknowledged that this stream was still relatively small compared with her other earnings.Adding up the four streams, Varsha reported September revenue of Rs 2,28,892. However, she was quick to point out that the month had been slower than July and August, and said she hoped to pick things up again in October.Watch the video here:Her earnings breakdown prompted a mix of encouragement and scepticism online. One viewer said they wanted to learn everything from her, describing her journey as motivational.Others also called her progress inspiring, while one user expressed doubts about how easily online income claims could be believed.- Ends
