Woman found dead in home named as GP

A woman found dead at her home has been named locally as a GP. The body of Dr Hannah Terry, also known as Hannah Cain, was found at a property in Fern Hill, Dersingham, Norfolk, on Sunday. Norfolk Police said it was called to the property by the ambulance service just after 02:20 BST. A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.On Monday, at a hearing at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court, officers were granted an additional 32 hours to question him.Terry, who was in her 40s, has not been officially identified by police.A notice on the website of Grimston Medical Centre, where she is listed as a member of the practice team, says it is "temporarily closed due to extremely difficult circumstances affecting our practice team".A cordon remains in place outside the house in Fern Hill and a Home Office post-mortem examination was due to be carried out on Monday.
