File Photo by Mike Theiler/UPI | License Photo Sept. 2 (UPI) -- A woman arrested for taking pictures of jurors outside the Massachusetts courthouse where Lindsay Clancy is on trial was charged Wednesday with aggravated intimidation of a juror. Dawn Light, 56, faces charges for sitting outside the Plymouth, Mass., courthouse and photographing jurors as they left the building Tuesday. Light pleaded not guilty to the charges, and her lawyer claims it's all a misunderstanding. Police allege that Light had been photographing jurors from her car in the courthouse parking lot. When they spoke with her about it, she allegedly told them she was waiting for Lindsay Clancy. She consented to a search of her phone, and state troopers said they found video of jurors leaving the courthouse. "It's very clear this is a situation that is very serious for the commonwealth," the prosecutor told the judge on Wednesday. "The sanctity of the judicial system is at risk because of her actions." Light's lawyer downplayed the incident. "This is a complete misunderstanding," Light's defense attorney said. "She has the utmost respect for the judicial system." Light is a registered nurse with no criminal record. She was ordered to stay away from the courthouse and anyone associated with the trial and not to share the images she took on her phone, which are stored on her iCloud account. Prosecutors asked for $50,000 cash bail, but the judge denied it. She was released on her own recognizance and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Oct. 15. Lindsay Clancy, 36, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the killings of her three children: Cora, 5; Dawson 3, and Callan, 8 months. The children's bodies were found by their father, Patrick Clancy, in their Duxbury, Mass., home in January 2023. The jury has been deliberating since Thursday, and on Tuesday told the judge it was deadlocked.
