Woman beaten to death with stone, her 2-year-old daughter found weeping on her body

A 26-year-old woman was found murdered in a field in Raichur, Karnataka, with police suspecting that she was attacked and killed with a stone. Her two-year-old child was found lying on her body and crying for her after the murder.The deceased, identified as Sneha, was a resident of Raichur. Police have registered a murder case and detained two suspects in connection with the case, her husband and her alleged lover.The body was found in a field in Sindhanur taluka. Sindhanur Rural Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.CHILD FOUND ON MOTHER'S BODYSneha's two-year-old child was found on her body after the murder and was crying for her mother. The body was shifted to a hospital for a post-mortem examination.Raichur SP Arunangshu Giri said the two suspects were being questioned to ascertain what exactly happened and who murdered Sneha. "We have registered a murder case and detained two suspects in connection with the case, her husband and her alleged lover. She was allegedly having an affair.
