Woman, 33, ‘drugged & kept as sex slave’ found handcuffed to balcony by horrified neighbours as 2 teens among 4 arrested

A HOMELESS woman allegedly drugged and kept as a sex slave for months was found handcuffed on a balcony by a horrified neighbour. A local initially believed the half-naked woman was a leftover Halloween decoration before phoning cops with four men, including two teenagers, being charged over the alleged campaign of abuse. Cops say the men lured the 33-year-old into their home in Soest with food and shelter before executing a merciless campaign of torture and rape. Investigators told local paper SauerlandKurier: “The woman was kept like a slave in the cellar. “Everything imaginable was done to her – and much more, even resulting in permanent disfigurement.” The woman spent several months in hospital. Remarkably, local residents did not hear her screaming – even when she was hanging from the balcony for several hours. The partner of the alleged ringleader was also living in the house with her two children, but has not been charged, reported SauerlandKurier. Investigators told the paper that the alleged victim may have been suffering from Stockholm syndrome and had formed a bond with her suspected abusers. She reportedly feared she would not survive the winter without staying in the house. Now four men have been charged with aggravated assault, trafficking in cannabis, and rape. Two of the alleged rapists are still minors at just 16 and 17 years old. The other two suspects are aged 24 and 29, with the older one considered to be the group’s ringleader. All four hold German passports, and the 29-year-old was already known to police. The trial begins in October and will include 12 hearings, according to a spokesperson for Arnsberg Regional Court.
