Alongside confirming the game's central conflict, the trailer introduced new story details, expanded on Jean Grey's role, and confirmed that Marvel's Wolverine is set in Earth-1048, the same universe as Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man games. Insomniac Debuts a New Story Trailer for 'Marvel's Wolverine' The new story trailer reveals that Marvel's Wolverine centers on a fight for mutant survival, with Logan joining forces with Jean Grey to protect vulnerable mutants against a growing list of threats. According to the trailer's official description, Wolverine will fight alongside Team X while confronting iconic villains including Bolivar Trask, Omega Red, and Lady Deathstrike, as well as organizations like The Reavers and The Hand. The footage also features previously revealed characters like Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike while hinting that Logan's journey will involve recovering memories from his past. While the trailer establishes the game's larger conflict, the panel focused heavily on Wolverine's relationship with Jean Grey.
