Wizards rumors: Ramona Shelburne teases possibility of Darryn Peterson instead of AJ Dybantsa

The Wizards now have the chance to add a blue-chip prospect to the mix after trading for veterans Trae Young and Anthony Davis this past season.While many expect the Wizards to go with BYU standout forward AJ Dybantsa with the number one pick, recently, ESPN NBA insider Ramona Shelburne warned folks to keep an eye out for Kansas point guard Darryn Peterson as well in a potential trade down.“I know Michael Winger pretty well, and I know that he has the number one pick, and… if he likes Peterson, and there's somebody else who wants Dybantsa, why would you just take Peterson? You should just get something for that, right? So to me, I think Michael Winger has waited his whole life for a moment like this.
