With One Week to Go Until the Reunion: Where All the ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Couples Stand Post-Show

Love Island USA season 8 wrapped just over six weeks ago (where has the time gone *sob*), which means it’s been nearly a month and a half since a bunch of hotties found true love (or, at least, thousands of new followers) in paradise. And while not all of those relationships have lasted, there are plenty of Islanders who are still thriving together!So…which couples are still together after this chaos? Fans won’t know for sure where everyone stands until the reunion airs next week (though, considering it was filmed two weeks ago, anything could have changed in that time!). He added, “Ever since getting back, we haven’t talked at all about what this is, or what we are, I think it’s kinda been assumed that we’re both just kinda living our lives.”It has since been revealed that Jen was reportedly involved in Caleb and Jaiden’s split, but we’ll find out about that at the reunion!Gabriel and Jenpeacock//Getty ImagesRelationship status: UnclearGabriel and Jen seemed pretty into each other, but unfortunately he was dumped from the Villa before they really locked in. However, Jen got in touch after leaving the show, telling ET, “We have been in contact. He is an amazing guy. Definitely watching some of the episodes back I felt so emotional because I enjoyed my time with him.”She added, “He’s amazing, I had to catch up with him, so...yeah.”That said, nothing has been heard about these two since then.Corbin and Parmidapeacock//Getty ImagesRelationship status: (Reportedly) broken upThese two left the Villa as an “exclusive” couple, and soon after, they took to social media to share where they stood. On Instagram, Corbin penned a message to Parmida, writing, “I don’t know how to tell you this but it was really the universe that brought us together and I am blessed to have left the villa with you as my couple. This is only the beginning to what we have started with each other.”Meanwhile, Parmida took to her own Instagram to tell fans, “I can’t wait to continue growing, becoming the best version of myself, and showing America the connection I have with Corbin behind closed doors.”But then! After posing separately on the red carpet at the Love Island reunion taping, the two attended the OC Fair in Costa Mesa along with several of their season 8 cast members, including KC, Titi, Jaden, and Gabriel—but once again, they were very much keeping their distance from each other (at least, based on the pics and videos that emerged).They also both posted Instagram photo dumps following the fair outing…and neither of them included a single photo of the other.What’s more: During the August 13 episode of Deux/U, host Deuxmoi shared some (alleged) tea about the upcoming reunion, claiming that Corbin and Parmida announced their breakup during the special. As Kenzie told Dylan on Aftersun, “I do want to put a label on it of some kind, that we are exclusive, and let people know that.”She then made an appearance on Call Her Daddy, where she revealed her plans to move to L.A. to be with Dylan. “I don’t wanna do long distance, I wanna move here,” she said.By the end of the month, Dylan revealed that he’d asked Kenzie to officially be his girlfriend, writing on Instagram, “Getting to know you in the Villa was unforgettable, but falling for you in the real world was all too easy. This was truly a life-changing experience for me. I’m continuously working on my growth as a person and making more space to grow from my shortcomings. During my time in the villa I have built such special bonds with people that I can call my family forever.”Meanwhile, Melanie posted this update on TikTok, which suspiciously didn’t mention Sincere (or include any pics of them together...).But fret not! Sincere told Complex in a July interview that he and Mela are “still working on it” and “rebuilding all of that trust from the foundation up.”The pair was also spotted together in L.A. last month, but little has been heard about Melanie and Sincere since then so…TBD.Carl and Aniyapeacock//Getty ImagesRelationship status: Still togetherRejoice, because these two are definitely still going strong. After returning to social media, Carl posted a sweet ode to Aniya and his Love Island experience, writing on Instagram, “Walls were never really up let’s be honest.”Soon after, Aniya penned her own Instagram caption, where she wrote (in part), “I truly cherish the connection I have with Carl and I’m so happy that he made my fairytale dream a reality.
