It also ensures a sustainable income for the women.Value-added productsThe officials say Kudumbashree has a precise product traceability system that allows a customer who buys Kerala Chicken to trace it to the farm it originated from. This ensures quality and safety of the chicken sold. Customers can also scan the QR code on the Kerala Chicken value-added product packs such as chicken drumsticks, boneless breast, chicken biryani cuts, and chicken curry cut to trace their origin. The Kerala Chicken sales turnover from 2019 till now has reached ₹597.22 crore.
